Here is the answers to some problems that users may experience when using Mail Resender.
First thing to try if you are having problems,   increasing the maximum time for each suboperation can reduce the chance you'll encounter an error. ALSO TRY DISABLING YOUR ANTI-VIRUS AND/OR FIREWALL!!

"Mail Resender won't connect"

In most cases, DEP (Data Execution Prevention) is preventing M/R from accessing the internet. DEP guide. Otherwise, check your anti-virus and firewall security.

"I am getting a connection failure with this error: Login failed. (Wrong username/password?)"

Make sure you are using the right server and address, if that fails then the account most likely just needs to be read using an alternate method. In the download tab under the 'key' field, click on the drop down box and select the another method. This works best if IMAP is used first, HTTP if that doesn't work and POP as a last resort. If it still doesn't work, then post in the thread letting the mods know.

"After trying to download a file, M/R stops the download with this report: Downloading Error. float division."

Not much is known about this error, but it randomly seems to happen and it affects the majority of the files hosted on the server. It's only temporary and the files usually become available again after 1-2 days.
Most of the time you can skip the affected files and rebuild them using Multipar.

EOF occurred in violation of protocol

Try Disabling your Anti-Virus or firewall first!

As far as we can tell this is more an "Error" with Gmail, although it may be intentional on their part. If this is only happening on a few files, just skip those and rebuild them with the pars provided.

Post Merge: May 11, 2012, 03:12:13 AMI was getting the EOF error on any account I tried reading from, then I disabled avast and it seemed to work fine. this might be helpful to others with that problem, I've added it as a solution above.
